SWGR seeks to recruit an experienced Assistant Driller to assist in supervising the drill crew, and train local crews on the operation and maintenance of rig equipment. We are working with our client who is an American based drilling contractor who operate on an international basis. The Assistant Drillers main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assisting the driller in supervision of the drill crew Assist with training of drill crew in the operation and maintenance of rig equipment. Operate the rig as directed by the OIM Train and assist Derrickman in the operation, maintenance, and repair of mud pumps, mud mixing system and all valves and lines in mud system Assist Driller in preparing drilling reports and pump records Assist in maintaining inventory control of all rig supplies used in daily drilling operations Be responsible for reporting all accidents, injuries and illnesses to the OIM. Perform additional duties as directed by the driller or OIMRequirements: Fully qualified Derrickman Brazilian national Speak fluent English Excellent knowledge of onboard drilling equipment operational limitations Excellent knowledge of care and handling of tubular and their ancillary equipment.
