SWGR seeks to recruit an experienced OIM who will manage the the operation of an offshore drilling rig. This will include managing the rigâs safety and operational performance The main responsibilities of the OIM role will include but not be limited to: Manage drilling operations Supervise well testing, work over and casing operations Supervise the transportation and handling of specified equipment Plans and supervise pre loading, jacking and rig move Review deck load and stability reports Maintains regular communication with Rig Manager Maintain logs Review and approves work permits Personnel audits and reviews Ensures incident reports are logged Attend meetings, as required. Provides bid information Approve the ordering of parts, and materials Assist with preparation of budget. Equipment Maintenance Oversees the maintenance, testing, and repair of all rig equipment Performs structural or other inspections Oversees all special projects and structural, electrical, and mechanical upgrades to rig Applicants for the OIM role, MUST have previous deepwater experience as an OIM
